New bidders must confirm the following: They are over 18 years old with a legal photo ID. They must register with a credit card that matches their ID They must have the funds on that card to buy the vehicle before bidding. They acknowledge funds will be automatically debited from their card at the end of the sale if they are the high bidder.
FEES: Total includes the purchase price a 6% Buyer's fee and a $25 per vehicle fee. If funds are not available, the bidder will be banned, and we will choose to go to the backup bidder at our discretion.
THE VEHICLES DO NOT COME WITH TITLES. PAPERWORK TO APPLY FOR A TITLE IS $50.
PLEASE NOTE: You must buy paperwork to apply for a title. Unless marked otherwise paperwork to apply for a title is available from All City Tow for $50 Cash which is paid directly to the tow lot, not the auction company. BILL OF SALE FROM ST. You must call the City of St. Joseph to schedule a time to buy a bill of sale directly from them. Please contact them at 816-271-4730 for more information. You will need the paperwork to apply for a title with you when you get the bill of sale. The tow lot does not guarantee a title for the vehicle.
Vehicles may be removed from the sale prior to close at the tow lot's necessity.
Vehicles must be picked up by appointment by the allotted time or storage fees will be applied.
The buyer must pick the item up in person unless an agent is picking up for them.
This is only allowed if funds are wired-not if paying with a credit card. We require written authorization in the form of an email. The agent must bring copies of required paperwork, buyers ID and credit card used. In addition to this the buyer confirms they have read and will abide by the terms and conditions for the sale-see terms and conditions section.
THE PROCESS: Register Online with a valid credit or debit card. Funds must be available before bidding. Preview vehicles online and the tow lot (call 816-305-5570-appointment required). Please remember it is your responsibility to inspect the vehicle and review paperwork/VIN information. All items are sold as is.
Bid on vehicles starting at NOON the Friday prior to the sale close until the sale starts closing in lot order at NOON on the auction day. The bidding goes to live mode and will continue until no bid has been placed for minutes then it will count down and sell to the highest bidder (soft close). Local bidders and invoices total under $2,000: After all vehicles are closed the auction will close and all credit and debit cards will be processed. A 6% buyer's premium and $25 processing fee will be added to each vehicle bought. Please plan accordingly.
Out of town bidders and those over $2,000 should have already planned arrangements with the auction company to wire funds. No exceptions. Please have your funds ready. You must pay immediately after the auction as stated. After payment is made the auction company will email the successful bidder their paid invoice.
After 1:30 PM the bidders can call All City Tow at 816-305-5570. to schedule a pickup. The buyer must appear in person with the paid invoice, the form of payment used (their credit or debit card), their original driver's license, or legal photo ID-No copies. This is for verification purposes.
***IMPORTANT*****PLEASE REMEMBER TO CALL ST JOSEPH CITY HALL about the bill of sale you will need to buy from them before scheduling your pick up. They will advise what time they are available.
You will have to have the vehicle inspected by the Missouri Highway Patrol to apply for a title, Kanas or Missouri.
The buyer must buy the paperwork to apply for a title at that time. The fee is $50-paid in currency.
You can contact the tow lot for information if you need a quote to tow the vehicle from their lot.
Bidding Notice:
First time bidders: Your bid and registration will NOT be approved until we call you and confirm information. Please register at least 24 hours prior to auction close to help prevent non approval.
Call the tow lot during normal business hours at 816-305-5570 to schedule a preview at their location. IMPORTANT!!!: When you purchase a vehicle from the St. Joe Auction you will need to go to the City Hall in St. Joe to obtain your bill of sale. Please call them when you schedule your appointment to make sure the office is open.
Auction Notice:
A bank wire transfer is required for any invoices over $2,000. Invoices under $2,000 are automatically debited when the sale ends from the credit or debit card the buyer registered with. A 6% buyers fee and $25 per vehicle/item fee is added to each invoice.
